Hylands pupils to explore the River Chelmer

In KS3 Geography lessons, pupils have been diving into the fascinating world of drainage basins, using creativity to bring their learning to life. As part of their studies, they have been designing and constructing artistic pop-up diagrams to illustrate key concepts in their books.

Building on this knowledge, pupils will soon turn their focus to the River Chelmer, exploring its path through the local area. This hands-on approach allows them to develop a deeper understanding of river systems and their impact on the environment.

Well done to all pupils for their hard work and creativity!
