Hylands Triumphs in Y7/8 Badminton Match against Plume School

Hylands School recently hosted Plume Academy for an exciting Year 7 and 8 badminton match, with both teams eager to take an early lead. Hylands players displayed steely determination, setting the tone for a competitive event.

The Year 8 boys and girls dominated their matches, securing victories in all four singles games and the Year 8 girls’ doubles. Meanwhile, the Year 7 girls faced tough competition but showed resilience, winning half of their games. The Year 7 boys also demonstrated Hylands’ fighting spirit, battling through closely contested matches.

A special mention goes to the Year 10 students who umpired the games. Their professionalism and support were praised by Plume Academy’s teachers, highlighting their valuable contribution to the event.
