Work Experience Session

Several students from Hylands School recently participated in a fascinating two-hour work placement trip to Regal Kitchens in Great Baddow. During their visit, the students had the opportunity to explore the many features that can be incorporated into a kitchen design. They created mood boards, saw their designs brought to life through virtual reality, and gained valuable insights into the planning and architectural aspects of kitchen design.

The students impressed the team at Regal Kitchens with their enthusiasm and engagement, with feedback highlighting their potential. The staff at Regal Kitchens were particularly struck by the group, commenting that they were a "wonderful bunch of lads" with great potential, provided they find the right path after leaving school.

This work placement trip offered a unique and hands-on learning experience, showcasing the exciting possibilities for students interested in design and architecture. The experience was an excellent example of how Hylands School is helping to prepare students for their future careers.
