Year 8 Interform Sports Competitions

In the last week of February, we held the first finals of an inter-form competition introduced in the New Year. The year 8’s trialed it out for us and in lessons played in either basketball, handball, or football teams for their form group.

Sports captains were nominated and organised the teams on the day. The winners from each half-year group then got to play at lunch this week in the finals. Handball 8H v 8N, Basketball 8L v 8N, Football 8H v 8D, The winners in handball were 8N and they also won the basketball. The football was hotly contested and went to penalties after extra time with 8D winning 4-1. Well done to all the teams, it went really well and we look forward to Year 7’s having their competition next.
