We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Senior ICT Technician to join our school. To assist in the maintenance of the school’s ICT networks, provide and assist with co-ordinating Level 1 and 2 IT Support for Hylands School and to provide some Level 3 support.

The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of networking and hardware components, Windows 7, 10, Windows Server, Office 365, SIMS and all of the necessary skills to successfully help support a network, as well as being highly organised and having excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

You will be required to provide Level 1, 2 and some 3rd line IT Support for Hylands School including hardware and software support for workstation PCs and laptops; printers, photocopiers etc. And help maintain all peripherals within the school. As well as performing scheduled checks on IT Suites and copiers.

Within this role you will liaise with external supplier’s/support agencies for the repair of equipment under warranty or maintenance contract or to resolve faults speedily.

The successful applicant will ideally have some experience of working within a busy ICT Support team and be looking to expand their technical knowledge through further experience
